Act like a tourist, even if you are home

wanderlust = a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world

Dear friends,

My boyfriend says something very funny but also very true about me, that I am the kind of person that can feel like a tourist even in my hometown. I think he means that I get joy in the small things in life. I love taking long walks in the park or by the seaside.

I am lucky to live in Constanta, Romania, by the Black Sea and I try to enjoy its views as much as I can. Living by the sea has its benefits, people try to get here every summer, but we are here all year long and, trust me, the sea is wonderful in all the four seasons.

On the other hard, I am sure I am not the only one always ready for exploring the world around me so I made a list of things you can do when you feel the wanderlust:

  1. visit a museum or an art gallery in your town (I am sure you have some interesting places you always wanted to check out)
  2. take a hike and enjoy nature
  3. if you live in a big city maybe you will find  a free tour you can join or if you feel adventurous maybe you will start your own free tour to share all the knowledge about your city
  4. plan your next trip (maybe meet some friends to get some new ideas)

What do you do when you feel the need to travel? Please help me add to this list, I am curious to know your ideas.
